Comfy and stylish
I'm normally a Small/4, but I ordered it in a size x-small because I'm familiar with the fit of this particular brand and the fit of this sweater looked pretty loose. It fit perfect and it's very flattering.

not for petites
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the styling/concept of this sweater. However, it was a complete fail for me/my body type. The neck was a mock neck style on me and the sleeves looked terrible. It was as though I was going for a Victorian clown look - not cute. The medium fit, but was too form-fitting and the large was looser, but oddly cropped. This was the worst sweater from Madewell, which is sad because I wanted to love it and own several pieces from Madewell that I'm still infatuated with.

Great basic that can be styled for elevated look
Great sweater! Love the ruffles on the neck and sleeve. Can be dressed up or down. Bought the lilac and the cream. Wore the cream on Christmas Eve with a sequined skirt and bone boots. Normally I wear a small but sized up to a medium on this particular sweater for length and a little oversized but not crazy big fit.
