Waist much higher than stated
I have a number of madewell jeans. I usually prefer the 9” rise which hits my waist. I have 10” that are fine. These jeans come well up my ribs. Can you say Urkel- and not in a flattering way. Nothing special. Going back. Plus not truly skinny (I wanted to tuck them into knee boots) more cigarette. Skimming. Just be aware. If you are super long waisted they might be great. Also I usually need to size up in skinnies in madewell. These run big. Take your usual size.

I just got these skinny because I have a pair SAME jeans but size 30 which is no longer fit( I got them 5 years ago) Now I got them in size 31. These jeans were my “ go “ jeans and they are so good! Everything about them I love.
The high waist is just what you want to look slimmer.
The fabric is a bit thicker in a good way, it is soft but strong and stretchy enough to keep the shape.
The length is what you want wearing them with high sneakers, ankle boots, sandals , anything!
Get them and you will not regret.
After all skinnies are in trend again.
I strongly recommend this jeans they are true to size. And I got them on sale which is good too!

My new fave pair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to replace my old favorite pair after they succumbed to my dogs and were turned into chaps. They did not disappoint! They fit well around the hips and waste, are comfortable to wear and a great medium wash! I'm a size 6/8/29 with bigger hips and smaller waist. Also love Madewell because they last for years and can handle weekly washes!
