Drawstring Airy Denim Shorts

I bought a size 25 and felt to be comfortable and not tight. Most jean brands I wear 25. I usually don’t like wearing shorts because sometimes the style of the shorts feels a bit juvenile (too short and tight). This pair of shorts are flattering and the color is great too. I do agree with another reviewer that the drawstring is a bit stiff and can lay oddly if you just simply tie it. It does take a bit of maneuvering to get the drawstring just right. I bought the shorts on sale so I decided to make them work because they are cute looking shorts but I wouldn’t have kept them if I paid full price because of the drawstring wrangling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to be part of a uniform for an event where I'd need to move around a lot and wanted a little bit of extra length and they did not disappoint. I usually wear Madewell's curvy items so I was a little nervous about this but sized up and it's worked out splendidly.

I got my usual size 25 and they fit a bit baggy which is the look I was going for. They do seem to stretch a bit with wear. I am 5'7 130#

I love these shorts because they were so light and flowy despite being denim. They are perfect for summer since they give you a Jean short look but without the heat of the fabric.

I found these in the store and tried them on. I loved them and it was a bonus that they were on sale! I was trying to get them from Free People but they were cheaper and the same quality.
