Convoy Lace-Up Boot

Good Durable boot for the price point. They look wonderful and feel light for a boot. They are a little snug, and there was slight creasing after a couple of weeks use. They are not quite as solid as my Timberland Boots or some of the older Men's Convoy Boots that I have purchased in the past. Luckily I got them on sale! I'm hard on boots and these are serviceable so far.

these are priced about a half to a third of their competition (which i don't need to name) but have more than the price differential to offer them. i personally think the design of this boot is more attractive than other 6" similar boots despite the strong similiarities otherwise. this has a fuller shape that gives a more professional look akin to a military or top of the line construction/work boot. as a vegetarian i also appreciate the non-animal/man made upper. but what is most important is the fit and comfort, and there seems no sacrifice in those areas for this more economical boot. despite the great military/work boot look, i understand at this price point these may not be designed for such use, but for a normal walkabout everyday boot that is the better looking of the 6" options, it more than suffices.
