Surplice Maxi Dress

The color is vibrant and the material is soft. VERY comfortable. It's a classic. The dress is exactly as it appears. Wear with flats or heels or chucks if that's your style. I am short and busty so I do have to have mine altered for length and to show less cleavage. These are not necessarily negatives for me on the item as as these types of alterations (again) for me are the norm. :-) A definite good buy.

I needed a plain black dress for a funeral. I found this stunner of a dress and ordered, hoping for the best. Luckily, when I got it and slipped it on, it fit like a dream. Curve conscious but not showing too much skin, with a light material appropriate for summer and the length I wanted for a subdued event. This dress is not a gown suitable for formal events, IMHO... but if you're looking for an easy, go-to dress with NO fussy zippers, buttons, and fabric with little to no give... that can be styled up or down and won't sacrifice comfort in the process, you found your siren song. I'd wear this to informal events like date night, dinner out, or that summer BBQ. Pair with espadrilles for casual elegance or pumps for extra drama (the good kind).

This is a great fitting dress!!! Perfect for my daughter’s casual wedding with some bling added! It is a little long but I have a seamstress to shorten it for me. It is so comfortable and since there is no tailored back nor zipper, it does not show my back rolls!! I love it! There is nothing see through about this dress. It is great!
