The bag for the rest of your life
I have this bag in the larger size in every color it was made. Nowadays unfortunately it seems to come only in black. My black bag is THE bag for everyday and sometimes nighttime as well. It looks as new today as it looked the first day years ago. There’s room for everything. It is a super strong as well as an elegant bag. I say this having also various Channel bags, twice the price or more, and also other top brands.

Pretty bag with a difficult lock
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Longchamp's Mademoiselle leather crossbody bag has some nice features with one big disadvantage. On the plus side, the leather looks soft yet durable and the option of using the purse as a shoulder bag or a crossbody is a nice touch. However, when I tried the Mademoiselle on at my local Nordstrom, the lock drove me crazy. I don't know if it was defective or just not user friendly but I couldn't unlock the bag. A difficult lock is a deal breaker for me.

Chic handbag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the black and though I haven't had a chance to use it yet I am very happy with it. I don't think it is too heavy and I love that it can be worn two ways. Crossbody or up on the shoulder. I like crossbody's but when going out for dinner or something dressy it nice not to have to carry a bag crossbody. Thanks to a video I found online I now know how to operate the lock and its very straightforward and easy.

Good quality, some functional problems
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purse is made with beautiful thick leather, so it looks great but is heavy for it's size. The gray is slightly darker than it appears online, which I liked. It has nice compartments for organization and is pretty roomy since it's 4" wide at the base. The crossbody strap is not adjustable and hit my 5'4" frame a little lower than I like. The closure is kinda finicky: you push the button down and pull the small leather tab up to open and then have to get the top metal part in the right position and push inward to close. In addition, I found that when wearing crossbody, the short strap sits in front of the flap and closure making it even more cumbersome to open and close. A nice looking but not particularly functional bag, and for the price it needs to be perfect.
