Le Pliage Cuir Medium Tote Bag

I have never had a Longchamp but always been curious. This bag, wow it is just yummy! The blue is true to what you see onscreen. It is somewhere between a periwinkle and a cornflower perhaps. It is extremely lightweight and the leather is soft and pliable with an odd texture to it. I can’t put my finger on what it feels like. My guess is it will help with durability and hopefully repel some PNW rain. It seems like an all weather leather that would easily wipe clean. It’s completely unstructured. I’m talking limp balloon. The handles are fixed upright and don’t drape to each side. Flap has to be held out of the way to get to the zipper but helps keep it together when it’s not zipped if you like to have quick easy access. I immediately ordered a felt bag organizer to help it hold shape and keep things from sloshing around inside. The hardware is a striking metallic gunmetal color. Ohhh it’s stunning! The leather removable strap, stamped with Longchamp is not adjustable. While I can cross body, it appears to be sized for shoulder use. Inside you’ll find a black and charcoal logo fabric with zip pocket on one side and a slip pocket on the other. The medium size has often been described by YouTubers as a travel bag, I feel it is simply a medium sized handbag and while roomy, not at all something I’d pack my overnights in. I decided to treat myself and bought the matching cosmetic bag to go with it. I’m officially in love!
