I generally like this brand. The other dresses I have bought from them are well made, classic, and fun. The dresses I have bought recently are of lower quality. For example this is only partially lined and the fabric feels like it is a lighter weight than the other dresses I have from this brand. I like the color a lot though.

Marylyn Monroe type halter dress
I bought this dress for one person, but it was too tight in the waist and back for her. But, another friend liked the dress and looked great in it--she happens to have a tiny waist and a very full bust. She is a petite Marylyn Monroe type figure and this dress looked great on her. I joked that it looks like a dress Marylyn Monroe would have worn. I also think it is a classic style and it didn't even need to be shortened on my 5'6" friend. One surprising thing is that this dress is described as a blue silk chiffon dress yet it is not silk at all--it is synthetic and the material is just OK although the color is very nice.
