Cap Sleeve Denim A-Line Dress

This was a keeper for me. I’ve been ordering and returning so many dresses for spring and summer, but this one did not go into the return pile. The fabric feels great (machine washable) and the style is flattering. I love the snap-button detail and pockets. The length is a little short — but in a good, modern way. I’ve tried this oversized style several times (I was optimistic) before and usually returned them because they looked tent-like. This one is still loose and relaxed (you definitely have to like that vibe), but the large dart in the back gives it shape and makes it look intentionally stylish instead of sloppy. It also has sleeves, which makes it more versatile and elevated than most similar dresses. Honestly, it looks much better in person than in the photos. It seems like it will be a really good investment piece for the summer that I plan to wear a lot. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 120 lbs, and usually wear an XS or Small. I ordered the XS, and I think sizing up to the Small would have made it look too tent-like.

Fabric is soft and comfy. It is baggy / wide below the chest as shown.

Perfect fit, I love this dress.

I want to love this dress SO much because it is darling. But, it definitely doesn't fit like in the photo. It needs to be tailored some to fit me better; which I will have done because it is so nicely made. Then I will love it.

The material is light denim and the pleat in the back helps to give it style, but it runs a little big IMO. It is very short, even for a mini, so I’ll probably wear it with some bike shorts underneath. Overall, it’s a nice & easy dress to wear outdoors on a summer day.
