do not buy
I naively thought these would be short/denim material, as they look like Jean shorts! Pockets, buttons, belt loops, but these feel straight off shein. Almost see through, I could tell from the package weight it was not what I wanted. Sizing says an XL is a waist 32-34, I would say take it with a grain of salt and 30-32 IF that. I’m a pretty true to size XL, US 12, in most things and these did not even get to begin to button.
