Uncomfortable and stiff canvas-like material.
These jeans do not soften with wear or cleaning. I followed the care instructions, and after several washes, the material feels like canvas and still shows deep creases from packing/shipping. If you want jeans that are relatively soft and comfortable, don’t buy these. After almost 40 years of wearing and enjoying Levi’s products, these jeans miss the quality and comfort mark by a long shot. Very disappointing.

Check the cloth type - elastic v 100% cotton
Same dependable 505's but the website does not make it clear which cloth you may be getting. The elastic seems to be standard. If you want the 100% cotton be careful as you have to look thoroughly to be sure.

Not what they used to be!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The quality that i knew so well and trusted has take a significant downturn. The jeans are thinner than ever and dont last near as long. What a shame, the jeans i have that are 10+ years old i still wear, the 4 pair of jeans i have bought over the past 2 years have all failed mainly at the rear pockets and crotch area.
