What it is: A weightless, high-impact, statement-making lipstick with a satin finish.

What it does: Rouge Essentiel fuses high-impact color with weightless decadence for the ultimate sensation. From the sleek, high-gloss metallic case, a custom-curved bullet emerges sculpted to envelop lips and deliver intense color in one silky swipe. Infused with Mediterranean sea-algae extract, this lipstick moisturizes and smoothes skin's appearance to create a perfected canvas for optimum color laydown. Micronized coated pigments provide strong color intensity for uniform color release. The silky crème formula lasts for up to six hours without bleeding, feathering, drying, fading or settling into lines.

How to use: Using even pressure, press the bullet to both the upper and lower lips. To refresh, press the lips together. For a more defined look, line your lips with a complementary shade of lip liner before or after lipstick application.

Beautiful quality lipstick!!!!!
Rose Ultimate lipstick of Laura Mercier has truly captured the beauty of a magical rose in bloom!!! Its quality is just a beautiful match to that rose! Super hold for hours on end even after eating and drinking and light texture that you don’t feel but just see and admire!! Amazing lipstick all around!!!

Color is NOTHING like the Photo
I spoke with Nordstrom about how the color is nothing like the photos and we the consumers need to trust that, especially Nordstrom’s reputation which is why I shop with them. They doubled down on that it is a ‘final,’ sale which encouraged me to warn the buyer. You are not getting the color you may think you’re purchasing.

I ordered this lipstick and 2 others. None of them are the color that was shown online. They are a red orange versus the deep dark brown I thought I would receive. Very unhappy with this!

Not the same color
For anyone who is interested in the Rose Claire color, it does not look the same as the photo. It's much more pinky than the mauve color it appears to be. However, I do like the cream feel to the lipstick.
