Stunning...
This dress is simply stunning... I purchased it in a color called "light maize" - a sunny yellow color that is quite vivid and unusual. This dress is a head-turner! The silk is mid-weight, so not at all see through, and skims my body just right. The simple, classic lines of this dress and the quality of the material will make this a wardrobe staple for me. I can't wait to wear it!

pretty colour and soft silk but unflattering
This looked stunning on the hanger when it arrived. The champagne colour is gorgeous as is the quality of the silk. But the construction of the dress adds 20 lbs, no exaggeration. The lining makes the dress kind of bulk out. super bummed but I'm not going to buy a $500+ dress that is this unflattering. I have an All Saints slip dress from Nordstrom that fits beautifully and whenever I wear it, people ask where I got it. I think people would ask me if I was expecting (if I were a bit younger) in this dress.

Not 100% silk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dress has a polyester lining which I didn't want touching my skin. I was looking for 100% silk because I can't handle synthetic materials and was disappointed to discover the dress is really only 50% silk.
