This is a hidden gem that gave me my sexy back
I wanted to stop to write this because every woman deserves to feel this great in a dress! The cinnamon color & fabric is stunning in person, close to the color on my screen- somewhere between peach and a lighter rust. Anyone could pull off this color. The rich velvet is also beautiful, soft, and super high quality for this price. The crazy-amazing fit was a big surprise for me. I’m a HARD lady to fit off a rack; 5’9”, long torso/thighs, size 14/16 with cartoon waist/hip proportions and this baby got BACK (+ all the lower cellulite). This FITS like it was made for me, actually goes to my knee, is soft, comfortable and most importantly, NEEDED NO SHAPEWEAR!!! Even hid the cellulite. All of it. This is one of 3 dresses in my 43 years that feels great, fits great, and looks even better- straight off the hanger. Extra bonus, it’s versatile! I’ve worn it dressed up for dinner/the opera as well as daytime with a leather moto jacket and combat boots. I needed this boost right now and I hope you all get the same.

Loves the color but not fit
So the dress is gathered at the waist, which I think is supposed to accentuate the waistline but in my case, the extra gathering of the fabric kind of hid my natural waistline

This dress was just delivered this morning and I could not be happier! I am in love with this dress!! The velvet is so soft, and the neckline drapes perfectly. The shirring is giving me a shape that I want! I have been dieting and recently lost quite a bit of weight. I am currently moving from a size 18 to 16, but this dress fits me like a glove. There is enough stretch that it is very comfortable, but does offer some structure to keep things in place ;-) If you are considering velvet for the holidays this year, I highly recommend trying this dress. You will not be disappointed!
