Water Resistant Hooded Jacket

I have been shopping for the perfect warm-but-lightweight and waterproof jacket to take to Europe this spring and this is a contender. That being said, I want to point out a few strange features on this jacket. The fabric is naturally wrinkled or crinkled (as it is called on other websites). I haven't seen this many times before and feel like it would bother some buyers. What's really strange are the front pockets. There are two snap closures over the top of side-slit pockets. The snaps have just the female end but no male end to snap into anything. The side slit pockets are substantial enough to slip your hands into, but probably won't hold a pair of gloves securely because the entry points are just vertical and not angled. Why the weird flaps with just one half of a snap closure? The description says "front dual entry pockets" but I can only find one point of entry. Also, the sleeve zippers just look unnecessary and I can't image using them. I have clearly been shopping for jackets for too long with this list of complaints, haha! That being said, I like the light interior quilting, the overall length, the sleeve length, and the substantial hood. The side snaps to bring in the waist more or less are also nice. I'm actually also a fan of the lightweight crinkly fabric and feel like it will keep rain away. I can't tell yet if the good outweighs the odd in this jacket, but I'm giving it a try.
