Asymmetric Collar Wool Blend Cloat

This coat is SO PRETTY. I got the lilac, and I’m totally in love. And I almost didn’t even try it—it wasn’t the style I was shopping for, so I added it as kind of an afterthought mostly because I liked the color. It is so so lovely. It’s soft and swingy and can be dressed up or down. The silhouette and collar make it a little dressier but then the softness of the material and the knit sleeves make it a little more casual. Looks good open or buttoned up. The listing says to size down, but I would 100% say the opposite! If you’re in between, get the bigger size (unless you want it to look slim and close to the body? I find it to be a slightly swingy style, so I guess I would err on the larger side, personally). I go between M and L, and the L fits perfectly with lighter layers underneath but starts to get dicey with a thick sweater. Also, the knit arms mean that (like any cardigan) the sleeves can look bunchy depending on what kind of top you’re wearing. The lilac is so gorgeous. I am a little bit concerned about how well the material will wear (thinking of things like cross-body purse straps rubbing against it repeatedly…) because it’s thinner and has a bit of a nap to it. But I will wear it to death until then. I’d say this coat could work for temps in the 40-55 degree range.
