Poppy Waterproof Bootie (Women)

After reading the reviews, I ordered these JSlides in my normal size 7m. They arrived quickly and they are beautiful and look soooo gorgeous. I was SO hoping that they would fit. For reference, I am 5’ 3” 108 lbs and almost always wear a 7m. The color I ordered was a light tan suede but it looks more like a taupe, darker but I actually liked it better than the photo on the website, my feet are slightly wide in the toe base and a bit narrow in the heel, but I prefer a snug shoe. These waterproof sneaker boots don’t have much of a wedge lift in the heel, so I needed to add an insole, and after doing that they were very tight and small feeling. There is also really no arch and they are not a lightweight sneaker boot. I wanted to love them because I did not want a high wedge bootie, I want low. If I had ordered the size up, I might have kept these and loved them but I couldn’t find them in a 7 1/2. If these were lighter weight and a teeny bit higher wedge heel, I would have wanted them in every color. My tip: order a 1/2 size up and put a soft insole inside, the fur is not on the sole.

I love that they’re cute, cozy, and waterproof. They have an interesting, smooth-wavy bottom. I’m curious to see how they grip in rainy/snowy conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have ordered my regular size 8. I have a duck foot, wide across the toes, narrow heel. These were snug on the pinky toes, but the area hitting them was the suede, which should stretch. (Compared to say Converse, where the rubber is over the pinky toe and will not stretch). My heel did not slip, which us often a problem for me. I would not pay full price for these but happy to grab them on sale for winter dog walks!

Can’t wait to throw these babies on when the temp dips later this year! These will for sure take the lead in front of my Uggs.
