Proposal Pointed Toe Boot (Women)

These boots are so sexy. I wanted to love them. However, the material description is very misleading. These are “leather”, but it’s actually a coated leather, meaning that black polyurethane snake print coating will peel/scuff and underneath is leather that’s not the same as the exterior (it’s beige). Regarding the sizing issue that people have complained about, I am 5’4” 107lbs size 7 shoe. These boots fit perfectly fine around my calf. However, there is a slight deformity in the toe box that causes the boots to feel much tighter at the toe. The toe box turns slightly outwards, rather than coming to a natural point. I only noticed because my hardwood floors have straight lines in them and when I stood along the planks, I noticed that the boots aren’t even/straight. This again speaks to the low quality of the boots. My husband loves these but even a new pair that arrived had a bit of peeling happening. I hate to say it but I have to bite the bullet and spend $600+ for quality leather boots.

Waited for these to go on sale but they make your feet look enormous. The calf is slim but if you have a smaller frame it will be fine. The foot of the shoe, however, it’s extremely long with a wide ankle opening. I’ll try sizing down but I’m not confident they will look any better. I do not recommend.

Hopefully by the time I finish writing this review, the swelling in my thumbs will go down from trying to zip up these boots. They are very small in the calf area & I am not sure if sizing up would make a difference. If you are lucky enough to get them on, they are extremely cute so expect to receive several compliments! All in all, great boot just sizing is off.
