I bought a jbl 5 because the battery quit on my 3, on my 5 if I get a call the speaker quits same with incoming emails or messages, my 3 would allow acall to ring through and then just pick back up, I tried your help, chat and messaging but my need didnt fit a catagory

Thank you for your feedback on our JBL Clip 5. Our JBL Clip 3 featured a speakerphone with a built-in microphone, which was convenient for taking phone calls. In our recent Clip series like our JBL Clip 5 does not include a built-in microphone, as this model focuses on music playback. If you are looking for a portable speaker with a speakerphone, you might want to check out our JBL Go 2. Please note that this unit is currently out of stock, but you may be able to find it through our authorized third-party sellers.

Great sound but...
The sound is great. Unfortunately the speaker disconnects or turns off. My previous phone had the same issue. I have a Clip 4 without the issue and enjoy the sound but was hoping to upgrade with a new and improved model.

We appreciate your feedback. If your JBL Clip 5 turns off randomly, please make sure that the speaker is fully charged before using it. If this still does not resolve the issue, proceed to perform the reset. To reset the speaker, remove the speaker from your source device's Bluetooth settings. Power on the speaker, then press and hold the Volume + button and Play/Pause button together for 2 seconds until the speaker turns off. Pair the speaker again to your device to see if it fixes the issue. Be careful with customization..
I bought this for a client gift, and am glad I bought two. One of them came out with crisp lines with our logo, the other had the logo at a slight angle and was not accepted. The sound is clear and charge works well. I was disappointed in the customization.

Perfectly honest I can't say as I can tell a difference between this and my JBL clip 4 Hopefully the clip does not break on this one and the charging port does not quit making a connection to where I cant charge it No more like the 4 did

Great speaker, ok logo.
The speaker is so good! I wish I knew that the personalization should have been in bigger font. The pictures do not show actual look. Close, but not 100% accurate. That’s probably my fault for picking a greyscale logo.

Don’t pay extra for the picture personalization
The speaker quality is great, but I’m sad over the quality of the picture I had paid extra for. The picture looked poor when it came it, but I wasn’t too worried about it because how good could the picture really come out on the porous surface of the speaker, fine, whatever. But now after only owning it for two weeks the picture is severely scratched up and coming off already with very simple use.
