Run away from this product
It's the worst thing I bought in my life. The bass is always to high, even the minimum, the dialogues are terrible, you have to put in a high volume to understand anything, and every time I turn it on, even with a low volume I get a terrible headache. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that can help isolate the issue with your JBL Bar 1000. First, adjust bass and smart mode: Set the bass level to "low" and turn off smart mode by pressing and holding the mute button for over three seconds, then pressing +. Smart mode will automatically reactivate the next time you turn on the soundbar. Next, change the digital audio format: On your TV, select "Bitstream" instead of "Auto" or "PCM" for the digital audio format. Last, perform a factory reset: Press and hold the source button, volume up, and volume down buttons simultaneously for over five seconds until "RESET" appears. Please note that a factory reset will remove all your personalized settings from the soundbar. If the issue remains, please contact us.

No bass. The end
This thing has no bass. My old jbl subwoofer had much more control and way better bass sounds. This thing sucks to be honest. Sound is all over the place too. Commercials and music sound different with every changing scene. Even when it randomly gets super loud it still has less bass than ur little sister. I would rank it 1 star but then I would feel really bad about spending a thousand dollars on this thing

First, make sure the subwoofer is properly connected to the main bar, the connection status light should be solid white when paired. Next, move the subwoofer to a different location in the room, with the back panel 4-6 inches against the wall, then confirm the bass level is set to 5. Try unplugging the subwoofer from the wall outlet to see if there's a significant difference in the overall sound output. cannot hear rear speakers. vaulted ceilings.
I bought this about a month ago. The only thing I DONT like is that you cannot increase the volume of the detachable speakers high enough to hear. So if they don't push through a software update to fix this forget about the rear speakers. Also forget about atmos if you have vaulted ceilings. And finally the amazon music app on TV does NOT put out atmos music and as far as I know there is NO FREE Atmos music. Other than that it has a great base.

Great sound, wireless sub and removable mid speake
I bought this with a new LG C3. It is the best sounding sound bar I have had and works seamlessly with my TV. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Easy setup and enormous sound
Very pleased with jbl 7.1 system, worked great in my 500 sq foot man cave. Removable blue tooth back ground speakers is a plus. TV/ Music sounds awesome!
