High Waist Tie Front Wide Leg Pants

I love these pants! They will need to be hemmed as I am 5’4” but they are so adorable! Easy breezy more relaxed feel not tight at all. I ordered my usual size 24 and they fit relaxed at the waist which I like with this style. The drawstring helps to tighten them just right. For a more fitted waist I’d size down.

First, the things I love about these pants. The material is just flowy enough without making you look shapeless, the cut is flattering and sits high at the smallest part of your waist and you can tighten it with the strings if needed. What I didn’t love about the pants is the sizing is completely off. I wear a size 25 for most jeans and it was really huge and looked bulky and bunched up around the waist when I used the strings to tighten it. More importantly if I don’t tie it tight enough, it would fall off! So the size 25 would fit around my mid hip area. I’ll probably exchange it for a smaller size if they have one available.

I absolutely loved these after trying on in the store! After wearing them once, I washed them very carefully and hang dried them. The pants have never been the same since. They turned grey and the material looks pilled, old, and scuffed up. They also look wrinkled all the time. :( Something is wrong with the material of these pants…
