Gaviota 4 Running Shoe (Men)

I have been looking for a good stability shoe due to my slight over-pronation. I have tried Adidas, New Balance, Mizuno, On, Brooks, Asics (although I do like the new Gel Kayano.) I was also looking for something highly cushioned, as I weigh nearly 200 pounds. Most of the shoes I’ve tried cause my feet to ache after walking for a few miles. The Hoka Gaviota is the only shoe that doesn’t leave me sore after extended walking. For me, it is hands-down the absolute best I’ve used. Prices tend to be high for the shoe, so I always do my best to find a sale. Thankfully, the Rack had it at a great price, though I’m not too happy about the extra $10 handling charge to ship it to Hawaii. I have narrow feet, but most any other size 9.5 shoe fits pretty snugly in the toe box. The length on this one is fine, but I notice quite a bit of room in the width of the toe box. This isn’t a bad thing for me, as I prefer to have room - I’m also only walking. I imagine it may bother some serious runners though. The Hoka Arahi is a pretty good shoe, but it doesn’t seem as cushioned, and it doesn’t breathe as well as the Gaviota.
