I purchased the Herschel survey II backpack in army green to replace a Herschel bag that I’ve owned for many years now, figured I would change up the style and I am super happy I did! Highly recommend this bag for someone that travels a lot and is often outdoors, the fabric is super water/ rain/ snow friendly and durable!

Bittersweet Experience
I have had 2 of these backpacks. I think they’re great. They’re waterproof, are comfortable, and have lots of space. My main complaint is that the straps keep breaking.

Comfy & Cool
Comfy to wear and makes you look cool , definitely a good buy. My only comment is that it should have one quick access shallow front pocket, instead of having to open the bag to get the the deep pockets .

Just What I Was Looking For
I really love this backpack so far. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I've gotten many compliments already. I find it so functional and easy to wear as someone who is an on-the-go freelancer—from the laptop sleeve to the roomy (not bulky) interior and the two side pockets and front pocket. Also love the color, it's a perfect size, and a bonus that it's water resistant.

Strap broke off
Love my bright yellow bag and always get compliments- but yes, like many others my strap broke clean off after about a year. I need to figure out how to get a replacement!
