Size up and wash according to instructions
I normally wear a size 4 or 28 waist in most brands, but have found that 6 fits best in Good American bottoms across the board. I recommend going up one size from your normal size in other brands. I was hesitant to get these based on the reviews about how they wash, but if you wash them according to the instructions on the tag they wash just fine. They will fade a little bit, but that is to be expected with anything this dark. Overall, I love the fit, the material, the length (I’m 5’8” and they aren’t too short) and recommend these pants!

Horrible Wash
Put these pants on and loved the waist control, the feel and were a great fit. THEN I washed them just as recommended. They looked like a grungy black and looked terrible, returned immediately.

loved until washed
These were definitely my favorite jeans. Wore them twice. Loved the fit and color. Length is perfect for tall girlies. After wash, following directions, the color was destroyed. I’m devastated. Strongly considering returning.

washed and came out terrible
Followed instructions. Turn inside out to wash. Washed with other black clothes. I even hung dried them. Had streaks all over them. Great fit but disappointed.
