Fit for Success Velvet Maxi Shirtdress

If only this dress were all it could be, I would not send it back. Clothing is how we make ourselves fit into our world. The fabric of this dress is beautiful, a rich black, thick luxe, denim like velvet. I love the high front slit. However, it was like wrangling a cow to get it on. I grunted, groaned, pulled, shimmied and finally cajoled my shoulders into the proper place. Ahh, relief to see it on, seems to fit well, and then I tried to zip it up. I even laid down on my bed to make the zipping over the twins easier. I started laughing because my thought was 'gadfry, if I only had some WD40, I could grease this sticky metal zipper into working. I never did get it zipped where I would actually wear it, just so a bit of cleavage shown. Once on, this dress fit very well. I ordered an extra large because I wear a 38 F brazier. This dress is slimming, I actually quite liked it but it's too hard to get into and out of and it's possible the zipper is faulty. Comfort crosses no boundaries too wide, including the comfort and luxurious act of dressing oneself.
