Where are the good clothes?

This jacket is not as it appears in the photo. It is made from a - not sure what to call it - thick, foamy material that resembles something my grandmother might have worn. I repeat: Where are the good clothes? Here we are, the beginning of spring, and THIS "new" offering is supposed to be emblematic of the season? Where are the kicky, cute linen jackets? Does this store carry anything appealing anymore that doesn't cost 1K+? Disappointing, disappointing...

I have this blazer in two other colors (or so I thought?) and I love those! But this one fell flat. Maybe it’s because the others are each a bright and fun color so the material worked better than in black, whereas this one was blah. Whatever the reason, this was a pass for me.

Casual blazer with fun lining

Really wanted to like this. I do not need a traditional professional blazer so the casual version of this one was fine for me. Made it more comfortable to be a cotton knit material. However, in my opinion the lining made this jacket a tight fit and uncomfortable to move around it. The notched collar is a nice detail but the button looked a bit cheap.

Surprised by negative reviews

I have this jacket in multiple colors and absolutely love it. Yes, it is like a heavy sweatshirt type material but it is very structured, has appropriately sized shoulder pads, lined, and shaped quite nicely to flatter just about any figure. I always wear the sleeves slightly cuffed up to show the lining which gives it more of a casual vibe and additional style. This jacket adds instant polish to just about any outfit and I wear them quite often in rotation. Highly recommend and I'm quite surprised by the negative reviews.
