Platinum+ Styler 1-Inch Flat Iron

I love this straightener so much. I had my last one for six years, traveled the world with it. It might sound silly, but the dual voltage might be the thing I’m most grateful for this straightener. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten to Europe or the Caribbean or wherever and I had my straightener burn up on me. It even happened in Vegas once. I finally caught on with the electricity thing. The U.S. uses 110–120 volts / 60 Hz electricity. Many other countries use 220–240 volts / 50 Hz. I’ve had straighteners that have dual voltage and still have burned up or don’t even get warm in another country. And then when I bring them back here, they won’t turn on. Too much money down the drain. This one I can bring anywhere and it always works. Aside from that, it smooths my hair with little effort & the smoothness lasts until I wash it. I might use it on day old hair and those are my best hair days because it’s so sleek. I fine, frizzy, bleached, damaged, long hair, and a lot of it . It’s very wavy in the back and kind of cowlick-y and lifeless around my face. After I wash and dry my hair, I look like a lion. Day one of straightening it kind of sets it and doesn’t tame it fully, but it goes from frizzy to smooth at least (I’ll put it up or pin some back on those days) but Day 2 and 3 and maybe 4,once my oils have mixed in, oh my gosh, my hair is a dream. I’ve never in my life had compliments on how smooth my hair is until using the straightener. I bought one for my mom cause she has gray hair and it magically goes from wiry to soft too. When I air dry my hair the back is far more wavy than when I blow dry. Those waves take a few passes. I love the one heat setting option. It gets very hot without frying it and my hair fries easily. The heat may be weak for someone with more curly or thick hair, but my needs, this straightener is absolutely perfect. It’s always marked down during the anniversary sale so wait if you can.
