Veronica Snakeskin Print Combat Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these boots they are a beautiful color. But they are so small . I have always worn a six and have many fry boots but I should have ordered a half size up. I’m a standard six so I’m not sure I got them on sale and been breaking in. But the overall shoe is more like a 5. 5 or something. The quality is good but I also feel the sole could use more thickness of cushion. But I realize I’m hard on boots I work long hours in my boots so I am demanding of them. Three start because the size is off and they could be more comfortable but they are beautiful and I love the leather. I love the color Stitching seems solid. I wish it hadn’t been on sale so I could exchange them for a size up.

These are my third pair of Frye boots. I have another pair of Veronica combat that I bought about 12 years ago - other than replacing the laces several times, they’ve held up great and I wore them almost every day for several years. I wanted to get a black pair, so tried these. The “leather” on the inside is so sticky and hot, if you told me it was synthetic I’d believe you. I almost think it IS synthetic, in spite of the website saying otherwise. My socks stick to the sides when I’m putting them on. The boot is also a good inch taller, and either this or the lacing makes it so that I can’t tighten the laces around my ankle. I thought this would improve after they were broken in, but after 10-15 wears, it hasn’t happened. And I don’t want to wear them because, even though they look nice, they are so distractingly uncomfortable I can’t wait to take them off. Over all I’m very disappointed.
