Live them
Comfortable right out of the box but feeling better with each wear. I love that I can dress them up or down. And I especially appreciate the shorter heel. I’m older and tall. So definitely over my higher heel phase. Very stylish boot. I am between sizes so sized up to a 9. Glad I did. My calves are small so did not have any problems getting them on. But I do wear thicker socks sometimes.

Not a good boot
Overall not a good boot. Too loose around the ankle and then too tight at the top. Whoever made it needs to be replaced. Returned immediately

They are nicely made. Unfortunately
They are nicely made. Unfortunately they are loose in the ankle area tight in my calf and fit my foot. I think I would be happier with a zipper not a pull on. I am going to return them. For the price they are not worth keeping .

I regret not returning them.
The boots are ok. I do wish I hadn’t worn them so I could have returned them. Not having a zipper is a huge downside. The heel of one of them gets dented in when I put them on and that hass to the difficulty. They are also not as tall as I would like but I suppose that’s on me for not comparing the height to the length of my calf.

Quality is not the same
I absolutely loved my first pair of Melissa button boots. I bought a pair about 10 years ago and just bought a replacement. I’m really surprised that the replacements quality of leather is just not as thick and the texture is not as smooth, or as of fine quality as my previous pair. The sole is also made of some synthetic material and no longer made of a leather soul which is really disappointing. It also squeaks in one boot a lot when I walk and I keep trying to clean the soul and it’s definitely something inside the boot that is making this noise. I love the style but the quality just isn’t there anymore.

Deb from Chicago loves her boots!
I received the boots quickly and am very happy with the them. I love the quality of Frye boots and have purchased them over many decades. I have a narrow foot and the boots fit great with socks. I would recommend Frye if you want a quality , long lasting boot.
