Love love love these boots!
This is my second pair of Jackie button short boots as i wore them down & then my puppy chewed what was left :)
Well worth the purchase as you can dress them up or down and they are so comfortable from day 1!! I will continue to buy these as long as they are available:)

They don't resemble the distressed

Wow!
I’m a Frye fan, and these are a great example why. The leather is such great quality, natural high shine, deep rich color, and they fit like a glove. No breaking was needed. Ordered my true size, perfect fit, which is not always the case with this brand. I bought when on sale so got them for a steal, too!

Smooth plastic looking black leather
This is my 2nd pair of the Jackie Short. The black leather was very smooth, it could be easily be mistaken for a non-leather boot. The leather imo was far inferior to Any of the other 12 or so pairs of Frye boots I own. I thought maybe with some wear the boots would get that ‘broken-in look’. That hasn’t happened. Wish I could return them for a pair with better leather. I should have acted on my initial negative reaction.

Love these but I expected
Love these but I expected the color to be more brown and these are tan. But I still like them.
