Can't even get the boot on my foot
I'm starting to realize that if something at Nordstrom Rack looks too good to be true, it probably is. Frye boots are never this inexpensive, and now I can see why. I literally cannot even get the shoe on my foot because there is no zipper and the leather is cheap and stiff. These don't even look like they were designed to be a pull on boot... literally looks like they forgot to add the zipper and that is why they ended up at Nordstrom Rack and not regular Nordstrom. These shouldn't even be for sale...so disappointed Nordstrom Rack would even carry this. Don't buy these unless you are into paying money for shoes you physically cannot put on your feet!!!

I almost didn't buy these boots because people kept writing about how they could barely get their feet into the shoes. at the same time this project is listed as true to size. however it ran large. I bought the shoe for my size 6.5 and while walking in it even with socks on there is about I would say roughly a quarter inch or 3/4-in gap where my heels are sliding upward. It is not hard to put on at all. in fact, now I have to order a size 6 and hopefully it will fit properly. I hope this helps.

I’m trying to find a way to wear these daily, they’re SO GOOD!!!! I have a wide and high volume foot and got a . 5 size larger than my normal- I DID have to stretch these to fit more comfortably but now that it’s been done, I’m having no problem!

First off, I love Frye
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love Frye boots and have owned many pairs. But something's wrong with this pair. I am a solid 8 1/2 medium. So why can’t I get these boots on?? I’ve stretched the instep, thinking that’s the problem to no avail. I can’t turn them back after having stretched them. Sad, I love the style but can’t wear them, can’t get them on. I think the manufacturer should have put a zipper in or at least a back pull to get these suckers on. I was able to finally get the right boot on, felt great once on. Not the left boot. Oh well, this is the first sucky pair of Frye boots I’ve ever owned.
