What a beautiful shoe BUT, and this is a big one, there was a nail or something underneath the footbed in the right shoe and it was SO PAINFUL. It hit right under the bone of the metatarsal of the big toe and there is no way one can put any weight on that foot with that thing sticking out. Aside from this defect, the shoe was made of beautiful leather although I think it runs on the small side, both in length and in width.

I have not been over the moon about the show fit for my first purchase. I bought my size but the fit is too small, but other reviews say their shoes are too big. What’s up with Frye quality? I wish they’d exchange them for a size up. Cute but I will not be able to wear them. Very Sad with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased many Frye boots and shoes over the years and have never been disappointed until now. The sole of the booties are so stiff and unyielding that you cannot walk in them. They are also much narrower than others I have bought. and this leather is also more stiff than usual. Buying them was a complete waste of money and it seems they are refusing to allow me to return. It would be understandable if I tried to return them because I changed my mind; but I want to return them because they are completely, completely unwearable.
