Eloise Chenille Throw Blanket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eloise throw blanket from French Connection feels super soft. The weave is a little more open than I prefer, because it lets the material snag more easily. My blanket actually arrived with the large snag in it, which you can see in the photo. The glitter threads in the chenille are very cute but they also snag. Very pretty, soft throw that is a perfect size to actually snuggle up with, but I feel like this is better suited as a decoration rather than a throw for regular everyday use. It's a bit fragile, if that makes sense.

It’s the perfect size for all the members of the family. There are a few strands are yarn and have come loose and stick out but it doesn’t bother us at all.

This chenille throw is without a doubt the softest blanket I've ever felt. My closet is already stocked with plenty of fleece blankets, but this French Connection throw blanket makes them feel downright scratchy in comparison. If you look closely, this blanket is interwoven with silver metallic lurex thread, but it feels imperceptible on the skin, so it just adds a touch of glamour to the neutral oatmeal material. The only con is that it is fragile; even when washed with my delicates, it unraveled and snagged in a bunch of places. Nevertheless, it has quickly become everyone's favorite throw to snuggle up with on the couch.
