Tilly Rib Button-Up Top

I bought the Tilly tank in 5 different colors and they all fit differently. I ordered sizes Large and XL The pink and red Tilly’s were unusually small. The yellow Tilly was unusually large, the black, brown and Ivory fit TTS. I then went into Nordstrom to return some of them and tried on the black, brown and ivory in the same sizes and they all fit differently. The sizing is crazy with Free People lately. I know from previous purchases that the colors fit differently but usually the same colors fit the same. I kept the black, brown and ivory. They wash great and I like the fit after trying many of them on. For reference, I’m a 36DD and carry most of my weight in my chest. I like my tops to fit a bit loose.

I love the fit of the top I ended up purchasing but noticed some inconsistencies when trying it on. I tried on more than one size small and they did not all fit in the same way. Some were more boxy than others but the one I bought fits great! I have a long torso so it is a bit cropped with lower rise pants. I love the buttons which add a fun little detail. For reference, I'm 5'6", 125 pounds and usually wear a size 4 or small in tops.

I purchased this one in the brown color and it's a beautiful fall color. I went one size down based on the reviews and it fits perfectly. I'm an hourglsss shape so it looks good on me with high waisted jeans. The downside is that I wore it only once, and one of the buttons already fell off of it. I can't locate it, so I have no idea how I will fix it. What a disappointment!

Usually love free people but this was a huge miss, wish I didn’t take the tags off already so I can return it. Not flatter no matter how many buttons I try to unbutton/ how I try to style it. It also bulges out at random spots like on the sides and the front, just all in all makes me look funny.
