Cool Down Wool Blend Base Layer Leggings

The color is more camel than orange. The fabric is ribbed with camel on the outside and orange on the inside of the ribs. The fabric is soft. It’s not as wooly and warm as I had imagined but think it will be a nice layer to wear on really cold days under jeans. I would not wear them alone, not even for exercise. They are like warm tights.

Absolutely love these Free People base layer leggings! The material is incredibly soft and comfortable with zero itchiness whatsoever—exactly what you want in a base layer. They fit perfectly at the waist and stay put without bunching up, and they’re nicely fitted without ever feeling tight or constricting. They keep me surprisingly warm while still being lightweight and non-bulky, which makes them perfect for layering. I wear them comfortably under jeans and other pants all the time, and they disappear seamlessly underneath. They also fit true to size, which is always a win. I loved them so much that I immediately bought a second pair as a backup. My only wish is that they came in more colors! Overall, these are hands down the perfect medium warmth base layer—highly recommend.
