Eileen Relaxed Button-Up Shirt

Nordstrom’s is not doing a great job on listings for Frank and Eileen. They’ve got cotton button-ups mixed in with flannel shirts in this category. If you do want one of their flannel shirts, which are great, F&E has different thicknesses/weights depending on the pattern. Nordstrom’s doesn’t tell you that. The F&E website will often have the same patterns that Nordstrom’s has and if you can find the plaid pattern on F&E they do list the weight of the shirt. It’s helpful to know if you are ordering and haven’t seen it in person. I’m writing on the F&E cotton shirt “Neon Mute.” There is nothing neon about it and it’s much prettier “live” than in the photos. The print has a bit of retro vibe (to me) and the base color of the shirt is vintage white. It is in F&E’s “Eileen” style which is quite relaxed. F&E’s website explains their different shirt fits.. The Eileen style one of their most popular and it is very relaxed. It will be at least one size less than your regular button-ups, possibly even 2 sizes. I really like the Eileens as i am a 36DD and usually button-up shirts gape on me across the bust line. Not the Eleen’s though, they are specifically designed for women & design the shirt accordingly. I use this Neon Mute shirt with jeans often, though I originally purchased it to coordinate with F&E’s Westport pant in the pecan color (on sale now on Nordstrom’s website). It’s crisp and lightweight and I can put it in the dryer for a few minutes and wear it straight from there. Even better, the shirt it offered here at less than 1/2 of its original cost.
