Marcus Bootie (Women)

I was looking for something with a low heel, simply & well-made, leather, that I can wear all day. I wear an 8.5, but it was too big, so sized down to an 8. Perfect fit. My toes are not smooshed at the end. The top of the boot was pressing against my shin bone with every step, but being leather, it softened within 2 wearings. I have boney (not fat padded) feet, and the toe area is just right. This is a very versatile boot, goes well with everything from jeans to dress pants. Once I put them on, I don't think about my feet. That is a comfortable, well fitting, quality boot. Very happy I sized down a half, and that I have a new favorite boot.

Very pleased with the quality of leather, and the refined look of the boot. Where it is lacking is in the comfort level of the sole. As others have stated, they are very stiff, and I find there's virtually no padding and no arch support. Hoping that an insert will improve things. These were purchased to replace an old pair of Franco Sarto booties that were the most comfortable boots I'd ever owned. Also as others say, these are narrow - perfect for my feet, but probably won't work for a wider foot. Finally, I agree with those who suggest sizing down a half size - I bought mine one sale, so will work with the little bit of extra length, but do wish I'd sized down.
