The Banded Organic Cotton Jersey Dress

I really wanted to love this dress! As another reviewer stated, it runs a bit large yet the dress is hard to pull over head / face. I am 5'4", 107 lbs. I ordered the XS and could barely get it over my head, but then the arm holes and bodice were too big. I am a 34 B bust and have muscular arms so anything larger to fit over my head would result in an even larger drape. This would be perfect if it had a more fitted bodice yet easily pull over. Should have a zip or buttons vs pull over. It is a darling style but just not balanced in the overall drape. I would try an XS if available and potentially add my own zipper.

Typically a 34C, sometimes D in Natori, and size 29-30 denim, and ordered the M. Fit at the waist was beautiful, snug but not tight, and the fabric feels substantial and flowed nicely over the hips. Unfortunately for me the top is cut very straight, and so the armholes gapped badly and created little wings above the chest. Not enough fabric there to create darts for a better shape, so returned.

If you are looking for a wear now piece, this is a great pick. It’s 100% cotton so breathable in the summer heat. The slightly gathered waist is so so slimming yet the skirt of the dress falls beautifully over hips and tummy. I do wish it was a different color not because I don’t love navy, but the Frame Anniversary Sale dress last year (different style) was also navy. At 5’4” it hits low calf for me so more long midi than a maxi. You could throw a jacket or cardi with this to take it into the fall. This is winner!
