Denim Le Garcon Boyfriend Jeans

Let’s start with the good: the wash is a deep, true black. The fabric is light to mid weight and decent quality. The back pocket placement is good. However, the sizing is all over the place. I am usually a 28 in tight skinnies, and sized down to the 26 in these. They fit without falling off, but I’ve lost that slouchy boyfriend look. I’m basically wearing oversized skinnies. I’m going to try the 27 again, with a hip-slung belt. But fear they will look comically big, like they did when I tried the 27 before. Also, the rise is lower on these. I’m 5’9” (128) and they are on the verge of being too low. But maybe that’s coming back in style? I’m trying hard to make these work…
