Fleece Wide Leg Pants

These are listed as wide leg pants but they’re not, they’re barrel leg pants and they are HIDEOUS. I’ve seen a lot of pants now as ‘barrel’ leg but never anyone actually wearing that style and there’s a reason…it’s incredible ugly! These pants are also a strange shiny material like polyester. Seriously adidas what happened?

My friend has these exact pair and they look great on her. So I ordered size M (5’7, 140lbs). I loved everything about these fleece pants: the material thickness, leg length, vibrant color, and waistline height and stitching! On me, however, there was an obvious stark contrast between the “straight cut” of the inside leg verses the “generous cut” of the outside leg, creating almost a howdy doodie-ish look on me. Image an exaggerated look of photo four on the site. Again, my friend has the exact same pair only in a large and it looks fabulous on her (5’6”, 160lbs). For whatever reason, this cut doesn’t work for my body type.
