What you are seeing is actually what typically happens when our DWR treated Vinylon F makes friction contact with different types of surfaces causing a slight wear on the bag. The good news is that this can typically be mitigated easily. By taking a damp microfiber towel and patting the white marks they tend to become less visible but may not be entirely removed. This is actually common in all of our Kanken items made with Vinylon F as the items break in. This can happen on day one or years later down the line as it is typically based on environmental circumstances; a newer or older Kanken item would experience this same thing.
