I appreciate the environmentally conscious process of the product... BUT it didn't do it for me. Beautiful color, though. The size is too small and it's looks awkward on bigger/taller figures. The straps felt flimsy and cheap; no sense of comfort. Not even the discounted price of $60 is worth it--it shouldn't even be $60. With some tweaks, it would be an awesome product. Returning, sadly.

amazing investment
i’ve had this bag for 5 years now and it’s still in pristine shape. it’s the perfect school bag and fits more than expected. once i’m not in school, i can see myself using it for short trips and camping since it’s so versatile. the re-kanken is such high quality and i intend to use it for many years to come.

Favorite Bag
I've had this bag for over a year now and it has aged perfectly. I love everything from the design to the size. It's the perfect bag for everyday use, hiking, etc. The only thing to be weary of is that the recycled polyester material can sometimes get linty if that bothers you, but when it does I just use a lint roller. Highly recommend.

Excellent Travel Backpack
This is a great travel backpack - I was looking for something to replace carrying around a handbag when I'm traveling (not too big / uncomfortable to haul around all day when sightseeing). The two side pockets are perfect for a water bottle / small umbrella and the interior is great for a small / light coat, wallet, camera, etc. This is also "cool" looking and unisex enough that my boyfriend would swap carrying. Exactly what I was looking for! We will have to see how comfortable the staps wind up being once we actually start traveling again (there isn't any padding in the straps but they seem decent enough).
