Neo-D-Hyker Waterproof Trail Sneaker (Women)

I love longish walks — maybe 3-8 miles at least once a week but my persistent fifth metatarsal bursitis is worsened by all of these uber memory foam laden, overly cushiony sneakers that are all the rage. The Neo-D Hykers offer near perfect support that makes a tremendous positive difference. I wish the toe box was a smidge roomier — I have a narrow heel but slightly wide forefoot — but with thin socks I'm all set. Arch support may not be evident immediately but after walking a few miles you realize your foot has been supported in the arch and the heel. They also, to me, do feel less "hard" after a bit than they did at first. They're indeed waterproof and can be hot but I still wear them in pretty warm weather because "mushier" sneakers leave ,my feet in agony.
