A well made and thoughtfully designed bag.
Rag & Bone is -to one of my go-to clothing brands, but this is my first handbag. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but decided to take it for a "trial run". Transferred everything I normally carry into it, including one of those large zippered wallets. Room for all, and easy to organize. It has a top zipper compartment and a back zipper compartment. The zippers are high quality and easy to open with long fringe pulls. There is also a nice sized pocket on the inside of the main compartment. The strap is wide and sturdy, and adjustable for cross body. So helpful for me, because I am smaller and bags slip off my shoulder. The little pockets on the front seem more decorative. You could open them and put in something small, but they need to be unbuckled each time, so no.
Obviously I decided to keep the bag and continue to like it more each time I use it.

Bad magnet closure
I have the small field bag and love it, so I thought the larger one would be a very good purchase. I had seen other reviews describing the problem with the magnetic closure not staying closed, but I thought the problem had been corrected because those reviews were from a couple of years ago. But no, it is still a problem and renders the bag with an annoying clanging because the flap does not stay shut. Nordstrom graciously accepted the return and told me they had just had another bag like this come back for the same reason. This is a problem for Rag and Bone and they should fix it with a much stronger magnet.

Good but not great
Been using this bag for a month. Front flap closure is magnetic only and doesn't stay closed and internal pocket is small with no zipper. Things fall out of it. I am generally frustrated with the quality level of even pricey bags so getting this on sale seemed like a decent value. It's a good size for me as an all day bag.

Eureka! A black leather purse for travel
Nice leather and size. The two front buckle pockets are a little useless and I wish they had a magnetic snap instead of a real buckle. The underflap pocket was large enough for my extra large phone. I also appreciated the zipper top for security. It is a good everday purse and will be good for travel too.

years of loved use
I have been using this bag for almost 3 years every single day. I can’t give it up or find anything that compares. I likely will buy another. It still looks nearly new except the back of the bag the leather is now worn. It has the most perfect amount and placement of pockets. It’s the perfect size. Best money I’ve spent.

leather scratches easy
This is a beautiful bag, but the leather scratches easy - Roomy and beautiful brown color. I returned it.

Continues to Surprise and please!
I bought this bag on a whim because I love it’s BoHo look… at first I thought it was too small to carry the stuff I shove into my larger bags… proven wrong. It holds a TON… slim, and deceptively functional. I love the two ‘lock’ front pockets for hold the keys to my car and home (both of which open passively) the front slip pocket with the magnetic clasp (which works excellently for me) is a great spot for my cell phone. Inside slip interior pocket is great for my note pad, plenty of room in the main compartment for my LARGE wallet, sunglasses, eye glasses AND make up bag … back zip is awesome for pens, and things like a nail file, eye glass wipes, whatever. This bag has so much going on. I understand someone said it was about 200 dollars overpriced… I can get on board with that to some extent with the exception that the craftsmanship and styling is incredible, and NO I don’t believe this is meant to be a crossbody bag… why on earth does everyone have to carry a handbag on their tummy???? This is a traditional shoulder bag, hits at the hips and flows with your movements. The tan color I purchased is universally gorgeous and fun. I get complements every time I put it over my shoulder.
