Gorgeous Contour Bra

Heaven knows how hard it is to find a plus size bra that really works and is high quality for an affordable price. I ordered this bra in 38H, black. I’ve been wearing this bra for about a month now and the band barely stretched, just the correct amount to fit to my waist (it was really snug at first, almost uncomfortable, but now it’s perfect. I did try on a 40 band as well but it was just right at first, so that meant it would be too big once the band stretched to conform to my needs). The material is nice and durable, it’s higher quality in person that it looks in the picture, and it didn’t bleed much when I washed it, but I’d definitely not wash it with other colors. I’ve worn it with and without the straps, and although it doesn’t hold the shape perfectly when worn without the straps, it still gives a nice rounded, lifted look. The cups do go high where the straps attach in the front, so it doesn’t work well with dresses or rompers that are low in the front or some other style with straps; the front and sides of the bra, close to the front of the armpits, will definitely show. If you have really projected breasts where the weight stays in the bottom and outer portions of the breast, like I do, be warned that this bra will give you support but it won’t be perfect. Lined T-shirt bras like this one are not the ideal match for breast shapes like mine (a balconette or a plunge style would be better bets), since the t-shirt style bra is shallow by design, and projected breasts will push the cups away from the body (so they have enough space to sit); this means the gore doesn’t tack for me and I do experience some gapping in the cup, since my breasts are not full enough on top to fill up the cup the way this bra is designed. I still chose to give 4 stars to this style because, although there is a shape mismatch (that’s on my need though), this bra is still good enough to give me enough support, the band and straps stay in place all day (due to it being the correct size for me), and it makes my breasts look great underneath all my clothes. It’s actually really good for the price. I’m taking away 1 star because I wish it wasn’t so high up in the front where the straps are attached, since that limits what kinds of styles you can wear this bra under.
