They look great but…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and feel of the material, however the material is delicate. I haven't worn them that much but they feel tattered, like I rubbed the material against an abrasive surface. (In case you are wondering, I did not. )

Older version was better
I bought a couple pairs of these in 2022 and they quickly became my favorite shorts. great fit. very soft, comfortable fabric with just a bit of stretch. i loved them so much, that this summer (2023), i bought two more pairs. as soon as I pulled them out of the packaging, they felt a little different. the material was similar, but not quite the same. It was coarser and a bit thinner. It didnt have quite the same stretch. the pockets were similar. it had the same print pattern on them, but you could tell it was a coarser, cheaper material. I thought maybe after a few washes, they would soften up and I wouldnt notice the difference, but unfortunately, after a few months, I'm ready to say that Faherty has cheaped out on these and tried to pass them off as the same shorts, when theyre clearly not. They're still pretty decent shorts, but nowhere near as good as they used to be. Really disappointing drop in quality. Definitely not worth anywhere near the full price of what theyre charging.

Comfortable and nice fit. Only

Amazing!
These are the perfect shorts for anything, and not only do they look great, they feel amazing too. They are slightly stretchy which allows for a good tapered fit while still staying loose. 10/10!
