Isabella Floral Block Long Sleeve Midi Dress

Unfortunately, as a petite woman with an hourglass figure and a large bust, I was disappointed with the fit of this dress. While the lower portion was flowy and voluminous, the top section was far too small to comfortably accommodate my bust. Regrettably, I had to return the dress due to the poor fit.

The Lenzing Ecovero fabric is incredibly soft and flowy. There isn’t much give in the fabric, but the dress design takes that into account and it is very comfortable. I like the length and the fit. The arms are maybe an inch shorter than what I prefer, but if they were any longer the sleeves would look sloppy hanging down at my side. I think this dress flatters apple-shapes, with its v-neck, slightly fitted top, higher waist, and generous bottom half. The buttons can be sewn shut, and the neckline can be lifted about an inch with light ruching. It was a little much for me at $258 so I waited until I could find it cheaper elsewhere. However, it is well-sewn, with what I think are french seams in the arms. And the material it’s made of is not cheap. Not to mention difficult to find in a similar pattern, in a similar color scheme.
