Dune Plaid Organic Cotton Gauze Button-Up Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a classic staple for spring and summer. The fabric is light but not see through. It does run large; I’m a medium (5’8”, 155, 39” chest) and the small fits generously. I got the rose color, and it’s a nice cheery neutral. You can dress it up or down. I’m happy with the value at a sale price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing to note: I purchased an XXS, which was not a size listed for me to choose for this review. Nevertheless, I found that the shirt ran large--but in a way that seemed wearable, natural, and homey. I tucked it into my Topanga pants and despite its length going down further than is typical, it did not look awkward or unkempt. In fact, it worked just fine for a more laid-back church service. I was extra pleased that the outfit worked because the weight of the cotton gauze material is substantial. It's still breathable, of course, given the fabric construction, but it suited me perfectly on a cooler Florida evening in March. The pattern is lovely: a spruced-up basic, more exciting than neutral but not so loud as to be unfit to be worn as a neutral. I chose the rose-colored pattern because I didn't think I'd be able to say the same of the blue version. I would definitely buy another one of this style!
