This is a wedding guest dress for me. I love the Eliza J brand because they thoughtfully provide foundation pieces (as in cups) in their dresses! For this reason, I look for Eliza J dresses first for dressy occasions so I don't have to think about some kind of bra contraption! This dress is classic, elegant, and the scuba material is soft and giving.
I'm 5'6", 34B, 135 lbs and the 6 fits perfectly.
I recommend Eliza J and this dress! If it's anything like my other 3 Eliza J. dresses, I'll just wait for the compliments!

sleeves snag the dress
Beautiful dress. So either this was returned after someone wore it, or the sleeves constantly snag the fabric. There are pilling areas all over the underarm/breast area of the blue fabric. I'm returning the dress.

Finding a dress to wear to our niece's wedding that fits, looks good, and is appropriate for my age and occasion is no small feat. This dress is gorgeous. The material is profoundly comfortable -- has a bit of give to it without being clingy. It came back in stock in my size in navy, which will be perfect for early fall. The length doesn't hit at that awkward place on your legs, and the bodice of the dress has some internal structure (cover for the girls) that, for me, mitigates the need for a strapless bra. It's not a corset internally, if you need that level of support. This is my first ElizaJ dress, and I'm very pleased.
