What it does: Our indoor and outdoor environment, including sunlight, pollution and computer screens, may challenge and diminish skin quality over time. Daily Defense Shield steps up the skin's defenses with a superlight texture. Coconut and jojoba oils leave the skin feeling nourished, soft and supple. It's a perfect base for makeup, too.
How to use: Use daily, every morning. Apply to cleansed skin after your moisturizer. It can also be used instead of your usual moisturizer if your skin does not need extra moisture.

Chemical sunscreen
I looked everywhere for the active sunscreen ingredients, but was not able to find them. I was hoping for a physical (zinc, titanium) sunscreen but this is not it. If it’s useful, the active ingredients are Avobenzone 1.4%, Octinoxate 1.4%, and Octocrylene 0.7%. Disappointing, as the rest of the ingredients are quite nice. Unfortunately will have to return.

Daily Defense Shield
This is by far the best sunscreen for my sensitive skin. It doesn’t sting anywhere on my face. This is my second purchase and it has become my staple sunscreen. Love it!

A Good Face Sunscreen
I really like that this is lightweight and can be worn under makeup. The downside of this is the price to size ratio. I really don't think this works any better than any other facial sunscreens.

New Favorite Sunscreen
I was a little hesitant to try the Daily Defense Shield at first because I had experienced sensitivity to other products in the past and had been using mineral based sunscreens. However, the mineral products were harder to blend in and seemed to accentuate fine lines. Daily Defense goes on so smoothly and moisturizes as well as protects. Not only am I preventing sun damage, I’m improving the texture of my skin. I’m on my third tube now and I’m loving it!
